White Pizza

  • 1 pizza shell (round or rectangle, your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil and enough for drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 3 Roma tomatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • grated Parmesan for sprinkling

     *Preheat oven to 400°

Slice your tomatoes fairly thin, and set aside for later.

Then, spray the back of your pizza shell with olive oil spray.

Place your shell on whatever you are using to bake your pizza on.

I used the back of a baking sheet as it fits the size of the rectangular shell.

Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in the center of your pizza shell and spread it around with your hand!

Get the crust edges too!

Once your pizza shell is fully coated, drop the minced garlic in the center and do the same!

You do not need to do the crust – unless you want to, of course!

Spread mozzarella cheese evenly over your pizza shell.

Top the cheese with your sliced tomatoes..

Sprinkle the top of the pizza with a little salt, a little pepper and a little Parmesan cheese.

Bake in oven for 13-15 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and a bit crisp.

When you have about 2 minutes left of baking, drizzle a little olive oil on the top of the pizza and place back in the oven until it is finished. This is gives the pizza a little more juicy flavor.

When the pizza is done, let it rest at least five minutes before cutting into it.

I slid mine right off of the pan onto my cutting board and sliced it right on there when it was ready.

yeah, it’s on a paper plate… Mangia!
