Cajun Tot Sauce


My husband is one that prefers tator tots to french fries. So, when I need a quick side to throw in the oven that’s what I make. Instead of dipping these little potato puffs in “Fry Sauce,” we dip them in what we call, “Tot Sauce!”


  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise – I had the kind with Olive Oil, worked great!
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp (or more) Cajun seasoning


Super simple! Just combine your mayo and ketchup in a bowl. Add hot sauce, garlic powder and Cajun seasoning.

Stir ingredients together then give it a taste! I felt mine needed a little more spice, so I added more Cajun.

It’s all in what you like!

  1. 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  2. 1/3 cup ketchup
  3. 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  4. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  5. 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir.
  2. Taste to see if the spice is to your liking.
  3. Add as much as desired.
  4. Serve!
