A quick and simple lunch or dinner!
- Rye bread
- olive oil
- italian seasoning
- turkey pepperoni
- roasted red pepper
Take one piece of your rye bread, butter it generously and place butter side down in your pan. Do this while your burner is off!
Start to build your delicious sandwich by placing the meat on first. I did ham, turkey then pepperoni. If there is something that you like better or would like to add, go for it!
Since you are now at the middle of building your sandwich and probably don’t want to eat soggy bread, add your olive oil and sprinkle your Italian seasoning on top.
Add your veggies next. I chose two slices of roma tomato and two roasted red peppers.
Top it off with your favorite cheese! Since I call it an Italian sandwich, I chose to use provolone and parmesan.
Butter another piece of rye bread to place on top!
Turn your burner on low and grill the bottom of your sandwich until gold brown. Flip it over and grill the other side. In case the cheese is not fully melted by the time it’s done grilling, turn your burner off and just place a lid over the sandwich. The heat from the pan will melt your cheese!
