- 6 baking potatoes
- canola oil
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning
This side dish is so simple – I’m not even sure it needs it’s own page! HAHA! JK! Although easy, it’s big on flavor – and that right there, is reason enough! On to the simplicity!
Start by washing your potatoes and cutting them into thin slices.
After they are sliced, heat up your canola oil in your pan and add your sliced spuds!
To the potatoes, add these seasonings – salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder.
After the potatoes have been frying and starting to soften up, add your packet of ranch seasoning.
I didn’t add the ranch in the beginning because I feel like it won’t be as “ranch-y.”
Is that true? Who knows..? But it works for me!
Continue to fry the potatoes until they are nice and browned and fully cooked through.
That’s it! Told ya it was simple!
